If fate deals a cruel hand to a friend, what would you do ? 

If s/he looses her footing and falls, what would you do ? 

If s/he lands in a pit of despair and his/her spirit is broken, what would you do ? 

If fate decides to be even more cruel, breaks a levee and lets a flood gush forward to drown your friend, what would you do ? 

If pain and sorrow has consumed your friend yet s/he is unable to cry out loud for help, what would you do ? 

What are YOU willing to do for this friend ? 

Will you descend into the pit of despair to give him/her company, solace and succour ? 

Will you let go of your life of comfort and a sense of security to extract this friend from this pit ? 

Will you stand in the line of fire and stem the flood that's rushing towards him/her ? 

Will you ignore his/her faint cries for help ? 

If the world tells you that this friend is beyond rescue and redemption, what will you do ? 

If your own logical reasoning tells you that this friend is gone for good, what will you do ? 

How long are you going to wait for this friend ?

How long before you forsake him/her to his/her fate ? 

Are YOU truly a friend ?

Losing while Winning. Winning while Losing.

08-Mar-24 1900hrs - 2105hrs   Bhandaphod unleashed a blistering blitzkrieg of brilliance on the pool table. She'd verbally convey what she was intending to do and then line up and take the shot and the balls would be like - "Aye Ma'am, we're on our way !!" . Meanwhile I was at the other end, first bemused, then alarmed, later frustrated and then eventually resigned to my fate - "I am being bested by someone who's on song, so let me just watch and enjoy" . But of course, I was also super proud of my billiards buddy - in just over a month she'd gone from an absolute beginner to this amazing markswoman that was wiping the floor with me.
